i'm currently coveting

A fabulous vintage swimsuit, a la Marilyn Monroe. Last summer I went all-out 70s with crochet, tie dye and tortoiseshell buckled bikinis, but this summer I want to sunbathe in a delectably retro one-piece.


How does she do it?


I tried this one on at Temptations in Mt Manganui - it was amazing. I wish I'd bought it then and there, but maybe I'll be back for it. It was one of those rare one-pieces that actually fit me - I have a very long, skinny torso, so if I find that's long enough it's too baggy; a size smaller and it stretches right over my waist, making me look like a 12-year-old boy. I can't win.


But who isn't a winner in one of these?
